The 26-year-old left Pirates for SuperSport in September last year as he went in search of more regular game-time, after falling out of favour at the Soweto giants last season.
Having featured in all but one of Matsatsantsa's 21 league matches since his arrival, Ndlovu is slowly getting back to his old self.
"My goal from Pirates was to make sure that I bounce back and I bring back my career to a live wire. I needed to bring that spark back. So, I'm very happy that I have established that and looking forward to start a new season with the club from the start. Not joining the club somewhere along the line," he said.
The Pietermaritzburg-born anchorman initially joined United on a one-year deal with an option to extend by another 12 months but, despite stating his excitement for the new season, insists discussions over his future at the club have not yet commenced.
"Obviously it was a one-year deal. I don't know as yet and I haven't started the talks. I'll see when the season finishes," Ndlovu explained.
While renewal remains up for discussion, Ndlovu is rather pleased with his efforts and how he has fit in under coach Gavin Hunt.
"I am very happy, as a club especially where we are and what we are fighting for. When I came the guys were doing well not very, very well but ya they were there, fighting. I came in and also added value not just a number. So, I'm very happy with the effort that I have put in for the rest of the season."
