Former Kaizer Chiefs left-back Sifiso Hlanti has resurfaced at SuperSport United, with SABC Sport informed the player is merely training with the Tshwane side.
SABC Sport can confirm Sifiso Hlanti, Keagan Dolly and Siyethemba Sithebe will be all leaving Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the week following a decision by the club not to retain their services ahead of the new season.
Kaizer Chiefs are understood to have made a positive decision on the futures of two of their most experienced players in goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and defender Sifiso Hlanti, whose contracts were to expire on Friday.
Although Kaizer Chiefs delayed the decision to trigger defender Sifiso Hlanti’s option for one more year, it’s understood the two parties are now discussing new terms to keep the player at Naturena.
Kaizer Chiefs left-back Sifiso Hlanti says the players also take full responsibility for the lack of success the club has endured in the past few seasons.
