Speaking to the media following their league goalless draw against Orlando Pirates at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday Tembo says in football great minds like Kanu, who joined him earlier this month are needed.
"Yeah, look, all over the world it's always important to have someone you can be able to lean on in terms of information. In terms of seeing the game in a different way with some things that I cannot see. I think Kanu brings that which is very important. I think we've worked well together, hopefully, we'll continue the same way. He's a welcomed addition to the technical team," Tembo said.
The Natal Rich Boys seem to be slowly regaining their form, with the Carling Knockout Cup coming up next weekend, Tembo admits cup games are totally different.
They still have to assess the squad, to see who is ready and available for Stellenbosch.
"Yeah, look, cup games are always different from league matches. I think for now what we are gonna do is try and asses the team and see who's available, maybe give the guys a day to recover then we'll assess the team and see who's available for the Stellenbosch game.
“We've had a few injuries. Somila [Ntsundwana] is out and a few players as well with some tight muscles. So, we just want to assess first then we'll have a clear picture on who's available."
